I had spent practically my entire life in church. I walked the aisle at an early age, asking Jesus into my heart. I attended church faithfully, learned the Bible, and served in ministry.
I was living a church-oriented life. By outward appearances, I was fine. But I wasn’t. Because I wasn’t living a Christ-oriented life.
While not perfect, I now understand what resting in Christ means. When I am fully engaged in abiding with Christ, I can walk in His purpose and will and I can experience the fruits of the spirit.
